These materials will make a huge difference in my classroom. It will allow them to take ownership of their work and ownership of their space. The ActiveStools, stools, and Bouncy Bands allow the students to be moving around while staying engaged in what they are learning, whether the learning is student driven or facilitated by a teacher. Most importantly, having different seating options for the students allows them to choose where they learn best. It is all about meeting the different needs of students, while making it fun and engaging. Flexible seating is one small way that I can differentiate for my students.
