We need these books so our entire class can engage in a shared read during reading time at his/her seat. The books will bring our classroom together with a fun mystery with a holiday theme as we prepare for the holiday season in our community. Currently, we do not have enough copies of any text for even a partner read. For each student to have his/her own copy of the book will allow us to complete a more effective, meaningful novel study. This shared read will allow our classroom to form small group studies where students of varying reading skill levels will be placed together.
