The donations to this project will provide more flexible seating for my students. The wobble chairs will provide students an opportunity to concentrate on their own tasks. They will be able to move seating to quiet work areas. This allows a classroom of 26 little first graders to stay engaged and work on separate tasks. The writing journals will be used during our Daily 5 block. Students will write creative stories in the journals. The journals allow for students to revisit their writing throughout the year. I will also be meeting with students to help with revisions. Students will select pieces to publish and will share with other classmates.

About my class
