My students love learning and teaching each other, especially through the use of technology. Being able to teach the rest of the class is extremely motivating for fifth grade students. We are fortunate to have a SmartBoard in our classroom which we use daily. Currently the laptop and document camera are on a small stand that isn't as sturdy as it needs to be. Students have to be extremely cautious when presenting so they don't accidentally bump into the stand.
Students need a sturdy multimedia cart to house the laptop and document camera so they will be able to present infomation to their classmates safely. We want our classroom to be a safe place to work together and learn from each other.
