I am asking for six Chromebooks to be kept in my classroom and used on a daily basis by my third graders. In today's ever changing technology world, it's impossible to use computer programs without these Chromebooks.
The Chromebooks will be used to help my students with their reading skills by allowing them to participate in the MyOn Reading program that is offered school wide. The Chromebooks will also help my students academically by allowing them to get on and practice their math skills using ImagineMath, another program my school offers it's students who have Chromebooks available. Part of our core also requires our students to research and write about their findings. The six Chromebooks I am seeking will assist in their research and allow them to write an essay and create a PowerPoint to match! Lastly, the Chromebooks will also be an incentive to our students as they work independently, on their own academic level, while waiting for whole class instruction to continue or finish up.
