Using these materials will maximize student learning because the students will work in a collaborative manner supporting each other and scaffolding each others' contributions to successfully tackle the LEGO Robot obstacle course. The Mindstream Core set and the LEGO expansion set will offer my students the ability to create their robot and add accessories to assist the robot in conquering obstacles in the LEGO Robot challenge. The students will learn how to create, operate, and adapt their robot to maximize its full potential. The students will have to work cooperatively and think critically to problem solve any issues that occur while working. Working together in the spirit of fun and learning is a key component of our club!
