I chose the Chromebook because it provides the students with a platform that is easy to learn and use without the need for additional software purchases. Access to Chromebooks in the classroom will enhance the students learning by providing access to a wealth of information previously unavailable. Students from economically challenged households will now have the same competitive advantage as other students which can mean the difference between passing or failing a class.
The students will be able to use the Chromebooks for research projects, homework assignments and to collaborate on team projects. Additionally, students will be able to pull down teacher notes, complete quizzes and ask questions.
