Our school puts a major focus on STEM, environmental science and renewable energy, because we believe these are the ways of the future and we will teach these young people how to build a better tomorrow. With these Lego kits, the students will have a chance to work together and get their hands on building simple machines. The expansion kids will when let them see renewable energy in action, with solar, wind and hydro energy powering the fun machines they just built.
These kits will create a once-in-a-lifetime hands on experience where the students not only see but create a machine powered by green energy. Many of our students are from lower-income areas so the price tag is simply too high for them to afford. Experiences like these will last a lifetime, and as a teacher I truly believe this will empower these students to pursue a lifelong love of science.
