My classroom is filled with budding young artists! Many have never been to a museum, but are eager to learn about the great masterpieces of art. Sixth graders in my art elective class study a famous artist and their work each week. They create art "in the style of" that artist throughout the week. Having sketch books and pencils would be a wonderful blessing to my students as none of them have these resources available to them. Our art resources are very limited at school, yet my students are doing outstanding work with what they have available in the classroom.
