Creating a class library will give my students a chance to have books to read during school hours. The students will buddy read, read independently and create projects with our new library. I will be able to create lesson plans that are interesting and fun for the students. Having the CD's will give the students the ability to listen to fluent readings of stories to build their personal fluency and accuracy. The library will give the student the ability to check out books for home use. The more my students have the opportunity to read the stronger they become. Many of my students don't have books in their home to read outside of school. Having books in the home exposes younger siblings to books at an early age.
