Each week our class will walk through our neighborhood to visit public resources, parks, and businesses. The boots will allow our class venture out even on wet days when puddles, rain, or snow might have kept us in.
The materials will allow our young learners to capture their experiences from their own perspective while also giving the adults in their lives a glimpse of the world from a child's eye.
Students will document these trips using the AKASO cameras. We will use photos and video to create maps, books, videos, and documentation boards that showcase places we've visited and what we've learned about our community. Our essential question will focus on our sense of space and self within our community.
