Sitting on the carpet is a daily activity in kindergarten. The carpet is where we have our morning check in and greet each other. It is where we learn the alphabet and build our vocabulary. It is where we boogie down to music and where we curl up with a good book. Unfortunately our current carpet is old and tired. It is loud, falling apart, and distracting.
By donating to this project you will not only be providing a clean and calm carpet where students can learn their letters and numbers, but a place to improve attention and focus, which will ultimately help to increase their overall well being both emotionally and academically.
