My students need paper, pencils, and markers to complete in class projects and assignments. They need spinners, counters, and unit cubes to help them visualize various math concepts throughout the year. These materials will greatly help my students gain the confidence they need to succeed. I do not like to see my students have set limits based solely on the fact that they do not have supplies to challenge themselves. I always want to be the one to push them to reach their best, and these supplies will help greatly.
With all of these manipulatives, my students will be able to gain a concrete understanding of a variety of math topics. From using peg boards for graphing on a coordinate plane, to using colored spinners and dice for probability, the uses for these materials are plentiful.
