Some seating options include wobble chairs, balance balls, and stools. With structure and support from teachers, these seating items along with our classroom chairs will allow students to make a choice about their seating every day. This will also allow for students to feel comfortable and excited about learning.
Flexible seating allows students to choose where they work and with whom. It also allows them to change their location and positions as needed. Children need to move. Flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow, and core strength. Flexible seating most importantly helps make learning fun!
