My students need Boogie Boards to help them master new skills across multiple subject areas. Boogie Boards are LCD writing tablets! When using a Boogie Board, students write with a stylus pen and erase with the click of a button!
Incorporating Boogie Boards into our classroom will increase student engagement on rigorous tasks. In 21st Century classrooms kindergarteners are expected to become proficient in math, reading, writing, and technology. Using Boogies Boards as a tool will help them with all of these life skills. Kindergartners are drawn towards technology, and these tablets will not only keep them engaged but make learning fun. For example, when I am teaching math, reading, or handwriting students can use their Boogie Board to practice new skills independently and share their thinking with their peers. Having access to Boogie Boards will give students the practice and confidence that they need in order to grow and blossom throughout the year!
