Flexible seating is a wonderful way to have students become more engaged in their learning experience and be able to learn more about their personal learning style. My wonderful first graders are a very energetic, outgoing class with beautiful and strong personalities. Students enjoy reading on the rug and in our cozy library. Most students also enjoy writing in a comfortable spot. With flexible seating such as lap desks, cushions, wiggles stools and more, students are able to get their wiggles out while they work. Students become more engaged in their work with collaboration groups as well as independent work. 鈥淧ut kids in control of their own learning.鈥
