When I moved into my new classroom, I was so disappointed. First of all, it needed a face lift so I scrubbed, trashed old stuff and painted. I found that basic learning materials and supplies were very old or non-existent. In order to have a small learning group area, I need a whiteboard for instruction. The room does have one whiteboard up in front from whole class instruction, but it is way too high for me to completely reach, therefore, I would like a sturdy stepping stool. I tried cutting some paper using the existing paper cutter, but it is so corroded and the blade dull, so it didn't work. My students do not bring a lot of supplies to school, therefore I would like to ask for basics to keep on hand such as the scissors, tape and skin tone colors so we can all do our learning projects together.
