Students enjoy coming together to read, but unfortunately they don't have a classroom rug on which to sit. The carpet in our classroom was recently replaced with tile flooring. While I love the new tile, it does not provide a soft, warm place for my students to learn.
I want to instill a passion and love for literacy into my students; making the classroom feel like home with a cozy rug would do just that!
Our new rug will be used everyday for read alouds, instruction, and independent reading, It is big enough to fit all my students and give them a safe, comfortable place to learn and read,
