My Students have special needs but still want to express themselves in creative ways. Printmaking can be adapted so my students can make beautiful art that expresses who they are and what they love.
I would like to expand my printmaking materials so their experience can be themed throughout the school year. For example, we investigate oceans ans bugs in the fall. We explore flowers and butterflies in the spring. Because my students often have difficulty with their fine motor skills, we are not always able to do activities that require fine line drawing and cutting. Printmaking has always been an enjoyable way for my students to be successful artists.
