By this project, my hopes is to meet the sensory needs of my students and be able to provide them with more opportunities for hands on learning. These sensory and fidget toys are known to help students to focus and manage daily stress.
Many of my students have difficulty focusing and these materials will help me meet their sensory needs so they able to engage in meaningful learning. By utilizing these items in the classroom, they will help with my students ability to focus, absorb more information, self-regulate, and provide a calming influence.
My students require a lot more practice than other kids in their same aged groups. We print a lot of materials because they learn best through repetition and hands-on materials. So this project includes items to help organize the classroom and printing supplies. This will give me the opportunity to provide them with hands-on centers, sight word & math facts flash cards, and leveled reading books.
