The Words Their Way Books will allow me to differentiate instruction for the students that I work with. Each student will be assessed, and will work in the books that are appropriate to his or her needs. Words will change on a weekly basis, and students will work in small groups and individually to develop a better understanding of words and word patterns. Each week, students will be assessed to show growth. Data will be analyzed, and changes will be made as necessary. Students will leave the classroom feeling successful, because words addressed will be or become familiar to students as they work throughout each week.
