Help my students keep reading through the summer months! We know that students' reading ability regresses during the summer months. My goal is to help prevent this "summer slide" by providing engaging books that I know my students will love! My goal is to provide each of my 26 students with their choice of 3-5 books to love and read this summer. My low-income students have limited access to new, age-appropriate books to read during the summer. This project is designed to keep them excited about reading throughout the summer and help them stay prepared for 4th grade. Every home deserves to have access to engaging books.
