My students are incredible workers. Ranging in age from 5-12, they come to me from their general education classroom for special instruction in reading, writing, math, and social skills. They use pencils, erasers, and dry-erase markers. We go through all of these things rather quickly as sometimes the pencils grow legs and walk off or a dry-erase marker loses its cap overnight. I want to instill some responsible habits in my students by giving them their own bag of supplies to take care of in my classroom. This pencil pouch will hold a pencil, eraser, dry-erase marker, dry-erase eraser, and a glue stick, each labeled with the student's name. The pouch will also provide a storage space for any independent goal supplies they may need. My hope is that my student's will have pride in their supplies in my classroom. This project will also help alleviate some of the ever-growing costs of running a classroom. As a teacher on a budget, I appreciate any donation you make! Thank you for considering my students.
