The students love the book Wonder and the message it teaches about character. Having this gift will mean that I can put a copy in each student's hands and they won't have to share with 2-4 other students at a time. My students are engaged and actively participate in discussions while reading this text. They reflect on current and past experiences and what they can do to be better members of society. My students enjoyed comparing and contrasting the book with the film as well. It teaches them to appreciate how much more the text can bring to character development and taking the time to read the book is totally worth it!
