I will use the different seating options to promote learning in the classroom. We will benefit from a bean bag chair that will help them feel comfortable as we have reading time, an exercise ball where they can rock if they feel antsy but still lets them focus on learning.
Children who can choose something as simple as how they sit, feel empowered by choices, feel comfortable as they learn, are able to move and therefore promote physical health and also are more likely to feel a sense of community and collaboration in the classroom.
We also need an electric pencil sharpener because the one in our room is broken. Thank you.
