My project will help supply my fifth grade students with a variety of new library books that explore difficult topics such as fitting in, diversity, race, justice, and equity.
These books will be used to help facilitate very meaningful and important class discussions.
My goal with this project is that my students will use these books to analyze many topics through a different lens while bringing in their own authentic personal experiences. My students will think critically through the variety of perspectives which will aid to their personal growth and understanding of the world.
