During Work Stations, my students are independently learning in one of 5 stations (Buddy Games, Using Words, Independent Reading, Learning With Technology, & Daily Practice). All of the headphones we had for iPads (we don't even have a classroom set of iPads - only 5!) have broken or stopped working - the students cannot use this station anymore until we get headphones!
While students are in Stations, I pull leveled small group to the Guided Reading table. The kids have to sit in hard, upright chairs and they get very uncomfortable and it causes fidgeting and distractions... some new seating would be amazing! It would reduce the discomfort and allow them to get some wiggles out WHILE they learn!
