We are a title I one high school and we have 100% free lunch on our site. We don't have a PTA that can fund needs that come up, such as this. We have a lot of students who play drums in the church, or other places of worship. because of this i get a lot of percussionists signing up for jazz band. if we had a good set of marimbas I could have more participation in each song. Many of the charts require a vibe or marimba and we can show better at shows and competitions with all the instrumentation in the classroom.
