We need a Cricut machine and accessories to spread positivity throughout the school and in the community. I would like to have my students use the Cricut Explore Air 2 to create positive messages to share with others. They can use the Cricut design space to create images and sayings that promote positivity and cut those out on paper, vinyl, or heat transfer vinyl to share those positive messages. Students will be able to spread their positivity by making signs that can hang in our school, make shirts to wear to spread those positive messages, and do random acts of kindness for others while spreading their messages in a variety of creative ways. They would have the opportunity to decorate our student bathrooms, teacher bathrooms, classrooms, teacher workrooms, and hallways if this project is funded. My students can be the change we want to see in the world. They can defeat bullying, negative body images, hate, and racism by spreading kind words and acts. I will promote positivity through growth mindset. Students will also create a classroom blog and use social media to track the messages they spread as part of the project.
