Students are natural inquirers and are always drawn to anything involving technology. It is crucial to put technology into their hands. Chromebooks are the perfect tool for students to become engaged and more interactive with their learning.
In our classroom, we will be focusing on STEAM. STEAM provides the skills necessary for our students to be prepared for the jobs that haven't even been thought of yet. Our classroom encourages students to dig deep into robotics, coding, and all things computer science! The solar robot kits will be part of this process.
The Chromebooks will be used in a variety of different ways; they will allow students to have hands-on access to our Sphero robots and used in centers for student to complete research projects and interact with computer based learning tools. Students will learn to think for themselves, ask questions and create new ways of thinking.
