These books will be a welcomed addition to our classroom. I am teaching High School this year. I want to bring my students to the power that I know exists within the pages of books. I want them to see the world open up for them thorough literature. I am learning mindfulness techniques and studying contemplative practices that I will share with my students this year. I want to help my students be able to access these tools. When students learn the many mindfulness practices and techniques that are available to them they will be able to cope with some of the trauma and anxieties that they may be experiencing.

About my class
