We utilize technology in various ways in my classroom: practicing vocabulary, analyzing digital texts and images, researching topics of wonder, and creating authentic writing. Currently, my students are required to share Chromebooks when there are not any available to borrow from another teacher.
From competing on Quizlet to partnering on projects, my students love to utilize Chromebooks! Not only can we use additional Chromebooks to enrich our learning in English Language Arts, but we can also use them in Science to enhance our STEM design projects. Another reason we would like additional Chromebooks is so all students can increase their mastery of keyboarding and practice test-taking skills on digital devices.
