These materials will make a huge difference in my classroom. The carpet will be very beneficial to my class. The It will give the students a place to gather for carpet time. When the students are up for circle time, a carpet in the destination spot can serve as a great anchor. Students won’t question where to sit, or spread out very far because the rug becomes the destination and the edges of the rug serve as a defined space for them to sit.
Crayons and markers lead to self-expression, they help teach colors, they develop small muscle coordination plus they constantly delight and relax children and even adults. The students in my classroom frequently use dry erase boards. These boards help the students work out math problems and they use them as a tool for reading comprehension. The students really need working dry erase markers in order for this tool to be effective.
