Early literacy is very important and it’s imperative that I give the students different hands on experiences to succeed their learning goals and prepare them for Kindergarten. These activities will expand center options to allow me to focus on small groups and intervention. They will become efficient in phonics, phonemic awareness, reading, spelling and writing. This will also allow them to build confidence in their learning, while making literacy fun for them. You will help improve and increase student attention and academic achievement. It will enhance my purposeful and playful classroom environment. Learning is an adventure and the adventure awaits!
