These materials will help me create an immersive and interactive classroom for my students.
My goal is to create hands on learning opportunities for our STEM class. The Rock Tumbler kit will be utilized as my students explore the layers of the Earth, how rocks form, and what changes they go through over time.
The Fossil kit will be used as my students learn what fossils are, how(and why) they form, and what we can learn from them.
The Sun/Earth/Moon model will be used to help convey how the Earth orbits the sun while the moon moves around it.
Graph paper will be used throughout the school year as we introduce and solve problems on the coordinate plane.
24 game sets will help reinforce math skills as we learn them (operations with +/- integers, fractions, decimals).
Poster paper, markers, and crayon sets will allow my students to mix up how they take notes as well as use them for posters and projects throughout the year. I want them to write! Anywhere! I have them sit on the floor, lean on the walls, however they can get comfortable, whatever helps them focus.
