Currently, teachers are using anchor charts, white boards and Promethean boards during instruction. While all are great tools, they do not allow for the use of actual student work artifacts in real time. Students are engaged in writers workshop daily. During writers workshop, students need to see examples of the work of their peers. During lessons, students will share their work to their classmates using document cameras. This will motivate them to persevere with their projects and to work toward excellence.
When students are able to see exemplars from each other, then they can make adjustments to their own writing and produce quality work.
