Students will be able to choose books that interest them to keep. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more, and these books will help my students value books and encourage literacy. RIF is a wonderful program that gets the entire school excited about reading. We really pump the students up on the RIF days to encourage reading. Our students love reading and enjoy the library. However, many do not have quality books in their homes. By receiving funding for this project our students will have books accessible at their homes for them self and others in the home. This will help instill a lifelong passion of reading for pleasure.

About my class
