Students are engineered to move around and I want to make it possible to create a learning environment where they can do so. Students are expected to sit for most of their day at school and all of their energy becomes bottled up. I want to give the students a chance to be comfortable in the classroom and to encourage movement at their desks. The Hokki stools and exercise balls will encourage movement. From their desks students are free to bounce on the Exercise balls and to wobble on the Hokki stools. The ability for students to move around will increase their focus and decrease a majority of negative behaviors stemmed from the energy that becomes bottled up within students. This ability will be of benefit to the entire classroom.
About my class
