The three- to six-year-old students in my classroom are curious, energetic, loving, and bright! I teach at a public Montessori elementary school. Our staff and families make the school a very special place, and although most students at our school come from low-income backgrounds, families are often very generous and involved. My students inspire me every day with their acts of kindness and enthusiasm for learning. Whether they are reading to a younger student, drawing a picture, decorating the classroom with a flower arrangement, practicing letter sounds, or preparing snack for the class, they come to school excited to discover and explore! Many of my students are with me for three school years, and the children form a special community in which they truly care for one another and celebrate each others' successes.
About my class
