Struggling readers need great books on their level to improve. These low level books will be used to provide these readers with a greater variety of stories to hone their fledgling skills.The lack of low level books available to my students have hindered their growth. These books will help my students unlock the world of reading. Students will be given a chance to choose from a variety of books to read during Dyad reading time. Dyad reading is a method that pairs a low reader with a higher reader or adult so they can practice reading with support. It is a method that has shown great results specifically for struggling readers.
