I am a first year Kindergarten teacher, having moved to this grade level this year. Because of this move, I do not have all of the supplies I feel my children deserve. Being comfortable in your learning environment is essential to be able to really achieve your full potential. I would love to create a comfortable, functional reading area for my kindergarten students. I am hoping this will help to develop a love of reading and books! I currently have only a rug that all students must share. I am trying to buy some comfortable chairs and round cushions for the kids to sit on in their reading area. Having their own, comfortable space will give these students the ability to focus on this new skill of reading.
