Many of my students are English language learners. Most of them are below poverty level and struggle to keep food on their tables let alone supplies to school. I can make sure that my students have paper, pencils and books, but what would be helpful are a variety of materials for hands on, engaging, and independent learning activities to help my students feel successful and confident. My students need to have an organized room with expected routines for them to follow. The supplies I am asking help with will allow me to set up my classroom so routine is natural to them & learning is meaningful. I value arts integrated, hands on learning, that includes a variety of materials and technology. The parents of these students are very involved in their child's education, they want the best for their child, however they cannot afford to financially help with the supplies needed within the classroom.
