Help my students get LEGO Robotics kits! Robotics can help kids to realize their passions. Kids of all ages are introduced to Mathematics, Science, and Engineering; three components of the acronym, 鈥淪TEM鈥, (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). Here, children are given the chance to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. This allows their creativity to run wild as it increases the use of their creative imaginations.
A Strong Robotics Curriculum can create Tomorrow鈥檚 Leaders.
A student鈥檚 strengths tend to shine through when given the right opportunity and when it comes to controlling a robot and working in a group setting, they often show their own strengths to others but more importantly to themselves, building their confidence and self-esteem.
There are different ways in which a student鈥檚 talents and strengths may shine through; one being their contributions of ideas to the group whether it be design or mechanical properties. Others may be able to understand the concept of a robot鈥檚 movements and how to improve them for the better while others, who do not share those particular talents, may have a talent for leading others and helping the group to stay on task as well as communicating within their group and with others. Robotics teaches essential teamwork skills.
