Students' learning is enhanced when the children feel safe and valued in their learning environment. Decorating their classrooms and other school locations with messages of encouragement, kindness, and other social mores can help them to grow into young adults that feel accomplished and happy.
The Silhouette cutting machine and materials will allow me to display aesthetically pleasing images and words of encouragement. These should reinforce the students' morale and sense of social standing. As the students see the messages reminding them of kindness and other social skills, they can continue with their day, growing in academic learning and a sense of community.
