Students will be able to program their WeDo Lego creations if they have Apple iPads to program on. Students spend so much time creating these great Lego creations but then they need to make them move according to the LEGO rules. So they use the WeDo programming on an iPad (which last year we had to borrow after finding out that the classroom iPads were too old and did not support the software). The students disappointment about not being able to program their teams We Do creation was heart breaking. Our classroom iPads are too old to work. We really need new iPads to be able to create and learn with our WeDo software. The students will be using STEM based curriculum provided by LEGO. This is a great opportunity for younger students to be able to learn about working together as a multi grade level team, programming and research.
