Sitting all day can be tough for anyone, especially a second grader! I have a classroom of diverse learners with different learning styles and classroom environmental needs. Allowing students to wiggle, stand, kneel, or sprawl out while working will improve learning, focus, and engagement. Since dabbling in flexible seating, I have seen a tremendous difference in student engagement, and the wobble stools, cushions, mats, and seats from Lakeshore Learning will allow my students more options to be comfortable while working. These alternative seats will allow my students to move freely and stay focused. Students will feel safe, welcomed, happy, and ready to learn!
