Knowing that I do not have the proper books for my students this year makes it harder for me to get them to where they need to be. The only advantage I have to moving to 3rd grade is that I know where these kids are. I would love to be fully equipped to help these kids because they do have a long way to go to be on grade level. I also want to be that teacher that helped these kids fall in love with reading. I also want these kids to feel special for reaching their goals and bragging to their parents that they moved up a level.
