I would love to help my students touch and explore Pre-K even from a distance and with a "Pre-K at Home" kit they can! With your help, together we can help these first time students touch new things even at home behind their computers.
"Pre-K at Home" kits make distance learning so much fun and exciting! My students will not only be learning new things through their computers but they will be able to explore, pretend, create and imagine with actual manipulatives. It's a fact that Pre-K students need hands on tools to help them grow and develop. I have chosen small easy to clean manipulatives that are fun, exciting and perfect for these kits. So let's give them what they need to succeed!
The "Pre-K at Home" kit system is easy. Kits will be filled with amazing learning manipulatives, like three letter word building puzzle, feeling emotion dough mats, tub of animals and more! Students will take a kit home with them for a whole week. Students will be able to explore with family members at home, with me and my paraprofessional during our one on one Zoom and as many times as they wish on their own during the week. At the end of the week they return the kit for a whole new kit to use at home the following week.
It get's better! Once remote learning is over and students can return to the school building, the kits will serve as individualized centers to help students keep a safe distance from each other. When distance in school isn't necessary then the manipulatives can return to their original groupings to make bigger better classroom centers. This really is a donation that will just keep on giving. I hope we can make these kits!
