Having flexible seating options and a new table with seating will allow my students to view a different learning environment while also receiving their individualized instruction before going back into their general education classrooms. This type of seating opens a world of possibilities as students learn in different environments as opposed to their typical average learning spaces.
Students that have the opportunity to learn in a different environment with this new flexible seating by having their sensory needs met in a way in which they will be able to remember the content through a multi-sensory approach. By making adjustments such as sitting on the floor at a different table are allowing my students to receive a different instruction through sensory needs, which in the end will help them remember and relate to their academic supports.
Please consider donating and supporting these items as I truly believe my students need to learn in different environments to help them become more successful while supporting their special needs. They are the best kids in the world, and they deserve the best, starting with this. Thank you!
