Students in my class use technology on a regular basis to supplement their learning. Whether they are working on i-Ready, IXL, ReflexMath, or Gizmos, technology is constantly being used to practice and reinforce math skills that will help them learn and succeed. In our classroom, we have the desktops and laptops that we need - but we are missing headphones! We need this crucial piece of equipment so that students can work individually without disrupting the learning that is going on in other areas of the classroom.
Technology is interwoven into the classroom for my students on a daily basis through the use of supplemental educational programs and STEM projects that they work on throughout the year.
Much of their work is completed in class, and they need to use headphones in order to complete their work. Sometimes, students are assigned work to complete at home. While this is possible for many students, some do not have the equipment they need. In order to help accommodate my students, they are allowed to come before and after school in order to work on assignments. It would be wonderful to be able to offer them everything they need!
